The building itself is full of character and has been beautifully renovated. The dormitories and bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean and newly renovated. I loved that there were only single beds, no bunk beds. The albergue offers great amenities such as good WiFi, ample electric plugs, and excellent clothes washing facilities. The communal dinner was a bargain at €7 and the breakfast options were varied. The hospitaleros were friendly and efficient, making my stay even more enjoyable.
Was all great! 😊

I absolutely loved staying at this hostel. The location was perfect, nestled along the Santiago trail, allowing for a peaceful and scenic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the spotless bathrooms. I also appreciated the comfortable single beds and the availability of electric plugs for each bed. Additionally, the communal dinner was a highlight, providing a great opportunity to connect with other guests.
The only minor downside was that the room I stayed in tended to get quite hot during the summer nights, despite the presence of fans.

The location was great, right in the heart of the town. It made it easy for us to explore and experience the local culture.
The room was uncomfortably hot. Despite having fans, they didn't effectively cool down the room, causing us to wake up in a sweat multiple times.

The location of the hostel was conveniently close to the Camino and a pharmacy and supermarket were located just a few blocks away. The small rooms provided a cozy atmosphere and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing assistance with bikes, bags.
The hostel's multiple levels and uneven, handrail-less stairs can be a hazard, requiring guests to exercise caution when navigating the premises.

I recently stayed at Albergue Rosalia in Castrojeriz during my pilgrimage on El Camino. It was by far the best albergue I've experienced on the journey. The beds were all on lower levels, which was a welcome change from the usual bunk beds. The shower and bathroom facilities were excellent, and I never felt crowded. The pilgrim dinner and breakfast were both delicious and substantial, with a variety of options. The attention to detail, such as nightstands and hooks in the bathroom, made the stay even more comfortable. Javier, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering me watermelon and cold water upon arrival. He also went above and beyond by fixing my broken bike and helping me arrange transportation when needed. The atmosphere of the albergue was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to rest and recharge during El Camino. I highly recommend Albergue Rosalina for any pilgrim's stay.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Albergue Rosalia in a charming town center location. The facilities were great, with hot showers, clean bathrooms, and even a washer and dryer for laundry. The staff was welcoming and the complimentary watermelon on arrival was a refreshing treat. The homemade bread and delicious pilgrim's meal made for a memorable dining experience. I also appreciated the single beds with power outlets nearby. I highly recommend this authentic albergue for a comfortable stay on the Camino.

Upon my arrival at Albergue Rosalia, Javier, the owner, greeted me warmly and even offered me refreshing watermelon and cold water. The atmosphere of the Albergue was exactly what I needed on my camino journey - relaxed and clean. Javier went above and beyond by fixing my broken bike and even calling around for taxis. The dinner I had was absolutely delicious, especially the freshly baked bread. This has been the best Albergue experience I've had so far on the camino.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The owner, Javier, was incredibly welcoming and even gave me watermelon and cold water when I arrived late at night. The atmosphere at the hostel was relaxed and clean, exactly what you need when you're on the camino. Javier went above and beyond by fixing my broken bike and helping me arrange a taxi. The community dinner was delicious, with freshly baked bread, and the best I've had so far on my journey. The individual beds, tables, and outlets in the dorm rooms were a great touch, and the fully stocked kitchen was a bonus. The bathrooms were clean, and I appreciated the soap provided in both the bathrooms and showers. The hostel also had a nice terrace for relaxation. I highly recommend this hostel for pilgrims walking the camino de santiago.

Great location in a beautiful town with stunning views. Friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel at home.- Clean and comfortable rooms with no bunk beds.
Limited options for breakfast. No windows in the room, which made it feel a bit stuffy.

The hostel is conveniently located in the center of town, just a short walk from a grocery store, bars, and a pharmacy. It offers clean and well-maintained facilities, including showers with plenty of hot water and good bathrooms. The dorm-style rooms have comfortable single beds, providing a more comfortable sleep experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they even prepare an excellent dinner for guests.
There is a noisy bar located downstairs, which can make it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
